Watch the Two - One - One Forms online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Guitar Lab: The Golden Arp

The 1st inversion forms of the 2-1-1 add 9 arpeggios are very easy. They reside in a three fret span and these are the forms that provide "Hendrix" style rhythm guitar licks. All you have to do is barre three strings with your index finger and then hammer-on your 3rd finger. If you want to play monophonically, apply a finger roll between the two highest strings of the arpeggio. This all applies to the arpeggios on the lower two 3-string groups. When you play on the 4 3 2 string group, the only change is the addition of the 2nd finger on the 2nd string. Finally when you play on the top three strings, you'll use a 2nd finger barre or finger roll.
