PRINCIPLE 23 - MAJOR & MINOR TRIAD ARPEGGIOS
Learning these triad arpeggio shapes on the guitar will allow you to see each triad shape and it’s inversions in 3 seperate patterns across the fretboard. This will be helpful when locating inversions for harmonic variety but also for single note lines that outline the chord changes.
Let’s take a look at the 3 shapes for G major and 3 shapes for A minor. Once you know these shapes you’ll be able to transpose them for the other major and minor chords in any key...providing you know where the root note is in each shape....that means you’ll need to start learning the notes on your fretboard!!!
