Watch the C7 F7 online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from CAGED Dominant
Here we look into the final CAGED form, using a D7 form for the C7 and the G7 form for the F7. These forms are located in the tenth position in this example. By using all five forms, Brad is able to move freely up and down the neck, either linearly or diagonally.
By continuing to add elements from outside of the strict arpeggio structure, Brad is able to keep his improvisations from ever sounding like he is simply practicing arpeggios.
