Here's a cool idea descending the major scale in three octaves. The nine note sequence is less predictable than the previous example (which is a good thing), making it harder for the listener to hear the repetition as the idea descends. Take it slowly at first, making sure all the notes sound equal volume and clarity. In addition, try to make up your own sequences and move them up and down octaves. The CAGED scale patterns in this example begin with the 'C form' and descend through 'D' and 'E' before ending on 'G form'.
