Watch the C Major 7th (2nd Inv.) online guitar lesson by Bruce Arnold from 50 Sweep Picking Guitar Licks You Must Know
Now that we have finished the 13 sweeps with the 3rd on the low string it's time to look at playing sweeps in 2nd inversion. 2nd inversion would be playing each sweep with the 5th of each chord on the low E string. These 2nd inversion sweeps will give us another pattern of playing any chord type so it will greatly increase the amount of sweeps that we have available for each one. I've also included a number of sequential patterns that will diversify the ways you can use sweeps in your playing. I would spend time with each sequence and play it through all of your sweeps in all keys.
