Lick #30 “4ths in 4” is a nice Major pentatonic lick using intervals of 4ths. It’s based in Position IV of A Major pentatonic and is the type of lick you’ll hear from jazz pianists like Chick Corea, Mccoy Tyner or Mulgrew Miller. That being said it sounds great on guitar too! I’ve included a jazz styled backing track using an I vi ii V chord progression for this one. You can use either alternate picking or a combination of hammer-on’s and pull-offs for this one.
