This exercise also works placement, but with a different blend of consonants and vowels. It's easy to get tongue-twisted, but if you have to sacrifice a bit of speed for accuracy, so be it. On the CD, we have this exercise at two tempos. The first is a bit slower to give you time to get yourself coordinated. The second is at the actual speed that you should be able to maintain once you are an old pro at it. Don't slur the 'T' or 'D.' Keep them right up front just behind your top front teeth, and keep your lips pursed for the 'EE' sound. We are not going to work your range on this one - we are going to work on placement and enunciation. When you get those two things coordinated, your overall pitch will improve.
