Watch the Building a Section online guitar lesson by Jennifer Batten from Rock Sauce for Rhythm Guitar
In the clean tapping section I added some delay. When you're tapping with the right hand, place your finger directly on top of the fret wire one octave higher than your left hand note. Tap quickly without pushing the string down. The note should ring out and sustain. You only want to hear the note that is the octave higher than your original note. If you hear the original note and the harmonic, then you're pushing the note down. In the third section play the 8th note chunks with all downstrokes. For the final section use alternate picking.
