Watch the Tapping Harmonics online guitar lesson by Jennifer Batten from Rock Sauce for Rhythm Guitar
The 3rd and final harmonic technique I’ll get into is octave tapping. You have a chord shape in your left hand and copy that shape an octave higher by tapping with your right hand. Just like playing a natural harmonic, you place your finger right on top of the fret wire. Tap quickly. The move is akin to a doctor checking your knee reflex with a rubber hammer.
