Watch the Harmonic Octave Tapping online guitar lesson by Jennifer Batten from Rock Sauce For Lead Guitar
I spoke about natural harmonics previously. Now I'm getting into two different ways to play octave harmonics. One is lightly tapping notes an octave higher than your left hand fretted note, and the other is to add more tapping pressure in the right hand, so you get the harmonic as well as the fretted note to ring out. What you're doing is just copying the exact same notes and shapes you're playing in your left hand, an octave higher.
