Watch the What We Are: Solo 2 online guitar lesson by Trey Alexander from Quantum Rock

Here again, I talk about playing in a three piece band. This refers back to what we were talking about earlier, about how playing the chords and incorporating solos in between the rhythm playing can be a very exciting way to approach lead guitar playing. The other cool plus to this is that you can play this type of idea without having to have the support of a band. So this frees you up to do a bit of performing on your own. I think it is very good for your playing to perform as much as possible. This puts you in a position where you are on the spot to entertain and present something to someone that you may or may not know. The two lines at the end are small ascending lines that sound very cool over the progression. Be sure to add some of your own ideas over this feel!
