Watch the Akbar: Solo 2 online guitar lesson by Trey Alexander from Quantum Rock

Here is a big distorted riff. This is very similar to the solo I play on our record. This has a nice call and response idea and even has some pinch harmonics and arpeggios.

You will notice in the beginning of the solo I start with some low walk ups and then answer them with a bluesy pentatonic riff up in the higher registry of the fretboard. Then I do exactly the opposite where I play a repeating riff up high and then do little alterations of riffs down low. I then tie all of it together with that nice Eric Johnson riff that we played in clean solo #1. Remember take these ideas and really run with them. Make up as many riffs as you can to fill up the spots, and most importantly create ideas and loop them on the player.
