Watch the After School online guitar lesson by Angus Clark from Hard Rock Survival Guide: Lead

Cool stuff to look out for: The trill at the top of the solo. The pinch harmonics. The repetition lick when we get to the four chord. The B7 arpeggio on the B7 chord. More trills. The volume roll down and picking with the fingers at the back end.

This is one chorus of a blues. So it's different than when people say "let's jam on a blues", you can leave that to the Birkenstock-wearing jambos that want to noodle around for 2 choruses or more. You have one chorus to rock this so make it count.

The move to the B7 chord is the V chord of the V chord. It's called a "secondary dominant", which is a classical concept. Look it up, it'll do you good.
