Watch the Rhythmic Figure #11 online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Guitar Lab: Diamond Rock Rhythm
This lesson presents a straight eighth figure involving a double stop hammer on from the low to high side of the scale occurring on the first beat. This is played with an upstroke. The remaining double stop in this example occurs on the ‘and’ of the second beat and is played with an upstroke. This double stop is pulled from the low side of the scale. Throughout the video you will receive suggestions on how to dampen with your fretting hand thus preventing unwanted string noise.
