This is the most common rhythm passage built off of the boogie-woogie. The chords are A, D/A, A7(no3) and back to D/A. Notice voices 3 and 4 pedal the root and voices 1 and 2 form thirds out of A mixolydian. This idea of seeing intervals is a very useful tool both in learning a new pattern as well as creating variations of existing figures.
