Watch the '61 SGLP: B Section online guitar lesson by John Jorgenson from Eclectic Electric: 61 SGLP

The second phrase of the B section starts in the same way except the rhythm is a little different, and you go back to your original position. All I'm doing is playing the low octave open A and then the higher octave A and E (5th) and then taking my ring finger off so you have the 4th of A (D) and then back again with the 5th. Again, muting with my palm. After you play that, you move up with this 5th three frets (with a little bit different fingering), and you'll rock back and forth between the 5th and the 6th here. After you rock back and forth three times, then you bring your middle finger down to low D, giving you a G chord. Again, keep on the muting!
