Watch the '61 SGLP: B Section online guitar lesson by John Jorgenson from Eclectic Electric: 61 SGLP

You've heard the B section, now let me show you how to play it. You start playing open A and then you play a 5th from the A an octave higher, the E at the 9th fret of the G string. Then, you play a 4th from the A, a D. I play both of these with one finger, but you can do whatever is comfortable for you. Then we go down to A in C#, ending with G and D in a 5th. You lightly play the low A in between the double stops as well.

Again, I'm muting a bit with my right hand, which adds dynamics and a bit of mystery to it. That way I can choose how long I want each note to sustain. Notice I'm adding a bit of vibrato on the last double stop in the phrase. So, there you have it.
