Watch the Hammer Time online guitar lesson by Jennifer Batten from 50 Ultra Intervallic Guitar Licks You Must Know

It's easy to get speed during the ascent in this one because of the hammer-ons. At the top I bent the 9th to the minor 3rd. After the unison root bend, I did a couple of major 3rds, followed by perfect 4th intervals. In general, when playing perfect 4th intervals descending or ascending, I will bar with one finger and roll that finger to make the notes clearly separated. But if I have three or more notes descending on the same fret, I will often use separate fingers in order to make a clean execution.
