Watch the Bouncing the G String online guitar lesson by Angus Clark from 50 Radio Rock Licks You MUST Know

Open string licks are a key ingredient to sounding like a guitar player. In the studio, I'll re-tune or capo up just so that I can do open string type stuff where I'm in a "non-guitar key" (like F for instance). We're in G here so here's a lick that moves up the G minor pentatonic scale while pedaling off the open string. Cap it off with a tasty stutter bend and you're ready to take the stage at the California Jam!
