Watch the Flashy Arps online guitar lesson by Angus Clark from 50 Radio Rock Licks You MUST Know

On the ride out of a pop tune you can get a lot of mileage out of a pull-off arpeggio like this one. By establishing a pattern that I can hang over all four chords in the sequence, I'm building excitement and adding continuity all at the same time. We're using pull offs so the picking isn't that hard, but make sure you stay in time because the lick only works if it's super tight with the track. There's a bit of Tom Petty or Bryan Adams going on here.
