Watch the Chopin Hammers online guitar lesson by Tony Smotherman from 50 Power Pentatonic Licks You MUST Know
Here's an interesting way to get really wild sound out of the minor pentatonic in A. We start off with a hammer on from nowhere, play an octave of the root A and skip over to the 2nd and first string to create an interesting contrast. This idea is actually very similar to something Chopin use to do. Interesting effect to say the least! make sure to follow up with some tasty licks afterwards.
