Watch the Shufflin' Fool online guitar lesson by Robben Ford from Rhythm Revolution

We are gong to do an eight bar blues with a bridge, an uptempo shuffle and this is the chord progression from Little Walter Jacob's song "Just your Fool". Little Walter was a Chicago blues harmonica player. He started out young with Muddy Waters and another guitarist named Jimmy Rogers, another blues man. The three of them had a group together called the Head Cutters. They would go around from club to club and blow everybody away. Little Walter is probably the most highly regarded of the Chicago blues harmonica players. He was very creative. He didn't just play straight ahead twelve bar blues. He came up with basslines and shorter chord progressions, melodies, and different rhythms. I've talked about him quite a lot over the years because I really try to draw attention to him because he was such a creative force within a very basic style of music. So I'm going to show you a couple of different ways to approach this kind of chord progression.
