There's a particular feel that I enjoy, as we saw in the previous solo study, that's a combination of swing and Latin. It's just a groove that I really love playing over, especially when the form is expanded. Here, instead of 4 bars before going to the IV chord, there are 8, and instead of just 2 bars on the IV chord, there are 4.

The combination of this real up-tempo, moving forward feel and having much more time to develop my ideas is very appealing to me and gives me a real sense of freedom. In this video, I'll go over how to add in open strings when playing over this Latin groove.
