Watch the A minor Blues: 3rd Chorus online guitar lesson by Robben Ford from Riff Revolution
To wrap this chorus up, let's look at something I picked up from Chicago blues players. We're on the flat VI chord, which is an F9, and if you just go down the strings between the 8th and 10th frets, all the notes are good.
A lot of this kind of stuff, I do really for the way it feels - I like the way my hand feels, making contact in this way or that. Now, it's not exactly perfectly correct to play this, but correct enough. It's F, so I'm treated the F chord independently of the other chords in a way. I'm cheating, but it sounds good, so I like it. It's a little weird, but it's also kind of nice.
