A Touch of Bop - Solo Example is a video guitar lesson presented by Frank Vignola and is sourced from Jazz Up Your Blues.

Be-bop is a great style that every musician should know. It began with Charlie Parker after the swing era. The musical difference in be-bop is the extended lines that are played through the chord changes rather than the usual two bar phrases. Also, the target tones in these phrases are usually tones that you wouldn't end on in your typical blues or jazz tune. In this solo we add chords into the solo.
