Watch the Thank You Ma'am online guitar lesson by TrueFire from Play Country Guitar 5: Lick Vocabulary

Thank You Ma'am - Lick 17 is a video guitar lesson presented by Jason Loughlin and is sourced from 50 Country Masters Licks You MUST Know.

This lick comes to us from the guitarist from the Buckaroos, Don Rich. Aside from being a great guitar player Don is also a great singer, and just a talented musician in general, whose guitar playing and guitar tone really helped to define the whole Bakersfield sound. This is from the tune "Wham Bam" released in 1964. The Bakersfield sound was born out of west coast bars and was rebeling against the slick nashville sound. It's known for very thin bright twangy telecaster sound and a lot of low melodic hooks.
