Watch the PLAY COUNTRY GUITAR 2 online guitar lesson by TrueFire from Play Country Guitar 2: Rhythm & Lead Fundamental

Welcome to Play Country Guitar 2: Rhythm & Lead Fundamentals - the second leg of your TrueFire Learning Path journey towards becoming a solid country guitar player.

This Country Learning Path core course is presented by 2 top TrueFire educators: Corey Congilio and Jason Loughlin.

They'll guide your development of the essential skills and get up and running quickly -- no reading music, no boring exercises, no tedious theory to struggle through. In fact, you'll play your way through the entire course.

In Play Country Guitar 1 you learned a couple of songs and country riffs, along with a handful of country chords. Here in Play Country Guitar 2: Rhythm & Lead Fundamentals, you're going to venture even further down the path with scales, a little soloing, more rhythm and more cool chords. You'll learn two must-know moveable Dominant 7 chord shapes and then put them to use in a classic country song. You'll learn an essential country scale, the Major Pentatonic and then start to learn how to solo and improvise using that scale. You gotta know a little Chicken Pickin' to play country and we'll show you how. You'll also learn how to turn a simple single note line into a classic song and then wrap up the course building solos across the fretboard with sliding licks.

The educators demonstrate all of the key examples over jam tracks (where and when applicable) to simulate a real-world application, in a musical context. All of the key examples are also tabbed and notated for your practice, reference and study purposes.

You'll also get Guitar Pro files so that you can play, loop or slow down the tab and notation as you work through the lessons. Plus, you'll have all of the available jam tracks to work with on your own.

Take as much time as you need to work through each video guitar lesson before moving on to the next lesson.
