Watch the Robert Johnson Style: Open E online guitar lesson by TrueFire from Play Blues Guitar 7: Slide Approaches

Robert Johnson Style: Open E - Performance is a video guitar lesson presented by Andy Aledort and is sourced from Slide Guitar Power.

Robert was another of Johnny Winter's primary influences when Johnny was first learning to play slide guitar. One of the most famous blues songs of all time is "Sweet Home Chicago," which was recorded back in 1936 by Robert Johnson and is among the most famous and important blues guitar recording ever. In the accompanying example, I utilize many of Robert's signature licks and phrases to demonstrate the elements from which his signature style is constructed.
