Harmonically Speaking - Breakdown is a video guitar lesson presented by Peppino D'Agostino and is sourced from Acoustic Poetica: Fingerstyle Etudes.

This etude focuses on harmonics, which present a series of difficulties. When a harmonic is played together with a bass note, it's important to pluck the harmonic close to the bridge with precision and power so that both notes can be heard. Measure 5 can be challenging as well, with a jump from the 9th to the 2nd position of your guitar. As you play the harmonic on the 12th fret of the 2nd string, look at the 5th fret of the 1st string to prepare yourself to "land" in the proper place with your pinky.

Please note that in measure 6 your middle finger plays a partial bar on the 9th fret of the 6th and 5th string by bending its 1st phalanx. On the last measure, the harmonic on the 9th fret of the 4th string can be difficult to reach, and requires some practice to create the proper sound (F# note).
