Watch the Queenie's Waltz online guitar lesson by TrueFire from Play Acoustic Guitar 10: Advanced Fingerstyle Etudes

Queenie's Waltz - Breakdown Part I is a video guitar lesson presented by Adrian Legg and is sourced from Fingerstyle Revisionist: Adagio Songbook.

Let's look at "Queenie's Waltz" in bits. Let's first take a look at Sections A and B as they're nearly the same as each other.

In Section A, there's nothing too crazy going on - the thumb is marking the start of the bar, and there's not actually that much treble picking going on. There's quite a bit of legato, with several of the notes played with hammer-ons and pull-offs. The right hand is very simple, using my middle finger (medio) for a lot of it.

In Section B, we'll repeat the same thing, the difference being that we end up on the tonic, back on the G. And that's it - very, very simple.
