An obvious con of DADGAD is that, depending on your left hand and physical limitations, it involves heavy stretching. How do those of us who are not blessed with large and strong hands compensate?

Here are some exercises to work on your elasticity to ease into big stretches without hurting yourself. Make sure to let your hand muscles breath, following this sequence: breath - stretch - release - rest - breath - stretch (for a bit longer) - release - rest - breath, etc.
