"Terry T." came from the Kid Gloves album in 1992.

Right off the bat, "Terry T." stands for Terry Trotter. I had the privilege of working with Terry (the great keyboard player) for almost ten years - from the mid-eighties into the nineties. He was so sophisticated harmonically and because I got to hear the chords and progressions that he would create all during those ten years, some of that influence from him definitely made its way into my composition. I'm a better musician because I worked with him, and I'm glad I dedicated this song to his name.
