Here we'll listen as I play over a Csus7 vamp. I'll be targeting a Bb major triad (the triad built a whole step below the root of the dominant chord, which gives us the degrees - b7, 9 and 11. I'll also use some chromatic leading tones into the triad notes, to give me some 4-note phrases. This is a great triad to use to bring out that suspended sound. Because there is no third here, it can be also used over a minor seventh chord (C-7) to accentuate the suspended minor sound.
