Watch the Intro and Rhythm online guitar lesson by Gil Parris from NYC Rhythm & Blues

Much of my style relies on rhythm. Drums were actually my first instrument and I will show you one of my favorite repeat ideas using different rhythms. I'll also get into my take on playing Albert King-style bends without having to string your guitar up backwards! I'll finish up with an interesting finger-strumming technique that is another subtle phrasing idea of mine.
I'm continuing to break down the intro and rhythm parts. I'll be utilizing some tremolo, strumming, and show you a classic E blues lick and a really cool triple stop over the C dominant 7th that can be utilized in all keys.
