I'm employing E melodic minor over the VI dominant (A7) and E flat melodic minor over the D7.

As more dominant chords are factored into cadences, there are a lot of options for melodic and harmonic minor applications given the multiple keys of both minor scales that can be applied over any dominant chord (as I mention and demonstrate in the Overview).
