Watch the Major Triads online guitar lesson by John Stowell from Modern Jazz Improv

I like the fact that a simple major triad can be used to generate lots of tensions/embellishments when played in multiple keys. As I demonstrate here and elsewhere in the course, playing multiple triads in combination with the tonic or a basic chord (in this case C minor) is a helpful way to reference all of this harmony as an extension of the minor chord.
