Watch the V-IV-I Change: B2 online guitar lesson by Mark Stefani from Jazzed Blues Assembly Lines
This time we take a different look at the same set of chords. First we'll apply another three-note repeated lick against the G7 chord. Then we're going to maintain the same rhythmic attitude over the F7, but instead of recycling the same three notes, we'll use some slick, sliding country sixths. Both of these moves, as with every lick presented in this course, are highly flexible. The final lick for the C7 involves a classic minor pentatonic sequence used by many guitarists and horn players.
