Watch the IV Chord: B1 online guitar lesson by Mark Stefani from Jazzed Blues Assembly Lines

The final lesson segment on this disc covers another two measures of the IV (F7) chord, using a pair of great moves that flip-flop the approach used in the previous example. This time the first lick is reminiscent of the late jazz guitar legend, Hank Garland. It's based on the C blues scale, but opening with critical chord tones that belong to the F7, The second lick is another organ-based double-stop, a repeat of what we saw in an earlier lesson covering the C7, but now transposed.
