Now that you have a good grasp on the minor 6th chord and inversions let's move on to some spread or open inversions by using octave displacement, to create even more inversions. We will use the 3-4-5-6 string inversions but displace the note played on the 5th string closed voiced chords that we learned in the earlier section and play it an octave higher on the B or 2nd string. For each inversion, look at the chord and pick out each of the chord tones naming the notes.
