In this segment, we'll focus on tritone substitution on the bridge. The idea is to play one bar of the D7 chord, followed by a bar of its substitute dominant chord (Ab7). That resolves down by half step to G7, followed by its substitute dominant chord (Db7), and so on. The use of 9ths and 13ths adds a lot of color and movement here.
