Another important guitarist in the jazz and studio scene was Mundell Lowe. He began his career playing in the NBC and CBS orchestra where he worked with great musicians such as Hank Jones, George Duvivier and Ed Shaughnessy. In the mid 60s he moved to Los Angeles where he continued to work in the studio scene there while also working with Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae and many other legendary jazz musicians.
