Watch the Another Moveable Shape online guitar lesson by Sheryl Bailey from 50 Essential Bebop Licks You MUST Know
Here's another use of a moveable shape in action: There's a clear Cmin7 arpeggio and long chromatic approach back to a Cmin7 arpeggio. On the F7, a Bmaj that moves down a 1/2 step to Bbmaj. The notes of the B triad against the F7 are the tritone sub, which we'll exlpore more of later on. This lick is very reminiscent of Charlie Parker. Take note also of the use of displaced rhythms that make the line come alive.
