The next chord to think about is the Bb7, spelled Bb-D-F-Ab. The melody I wrote does outline that chord as well by playing a Bb7 arpeggio. Don't know that arpeggio? Well, not to worry - you can always just play the chord shape itself. Yep, it's often that easy and will always sound good. I realized there's a lot of information to take in here: learning your arpeggios, learning which notes are in which chord, learning fingerboard, etc. That's a lot to think about when playing and will take some time. My butt has been saved many times by just playing the notes in the chord from a fingering that I'm already familiar with. It doesn't matter how you get there as long as you get there!
