Another lovely and even jazzier ending is the turn around: from your last V chord jump up to the three chord and extend or tag the last few bars of the tune: So, just like you might sing the last line of a song twice at the end, one might play the last line twice and "turn around" to get back to the last line. For example, the last few chords D7-G7 would normally go to C, but the last time try D7-G7-Em-A7, then back to D7-G7, and finally C. See Turn Around Ending Chart.
