Watch the Chordal Scales: G Major online guitar lesson by Erich Andreas from Nashville Number System Decoded

If we apply our 1 Major, 2 Minor, 3 Minor, 4 Major, 5 Major, 6 Minor, 7 Diminished knowledge for the key of G, we get G - A - B - C - D - E - F#*. Memorizing this in the key of G and C (our next lesson) will allow you to have access to the seven naturally occurring chords right at your fingertips at all times. Since G and C are the most popular and often-used keys, and because with the help of a capo, we can transpose to any key using these same G or C "feels," you will get a lot of mileage out of memorizing these chordal scales.
