Watch the Finger Roll Directional Variations pt.2 online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Guitar Lab: Taming The Triplet
This lesson will demonstrate a melodic pattern based on triplets which are played with two different pitches. It is laid out in V position utilizing the A minor pentatonic scale. The formula for each pair of triplets in terms of pitch organization is: high low high, low high low. You will be using the "sides" of the pentatonic scale which results in intervals of Perfect 4ths and a Major 3rd. I will give you various technical approaches involving picking and slurring.
