Now our jam track is going to change from a minor pentatonic tonality to the major pentatonic tonality. By playing major chords that are a minor third (three frets) higher than the roots of the minor chords that we were using, we'll be able to use the same pentatonic scale forms but the tonality will change. This links to the rule: first finger root for minor pentatonic, fourth finger root for major pentatonic.
