Watch the Triads: Level 3 online guitar lesson by Chris Buono from Guitar Gym: Triad Workouts

This next workout has you playing triads up and down the neck horizontally in Ab starting with a 1st inversion triad whose bass note is C as it was in workout #1. You'll play through the Ab major triads as you zigzag your way to the top string set. When you reach the 1st inversion Ab major chord on the 3-2-1 string set you'll make a parallel change to Ab augmented/C and proceed to zigzag your way back to the bottom string set where you'll make another parallel change to Am/C. Notice the tonal center change here to A via minor. This is due to the bass note staying a C and not lowering to a Cb if the workout stayed in Ab. The string of minor chords will change over to diminished triads in A on the top string set only to flow through the same back and forth motions to the bottom string set where you'll come back to the initial Ab/C major triad that started it all.
