Much like Level 1, Level 3's Workouts mirror each other - this time modally. Workout #1 lays the ground work with a run based on an A Ionian. Starting out in the 10th position you'll play several two string sequences back and forth, at first, on the top two strings. Then, you'll make a diagonal descent down the neck that eventually lands in the 4th position in bar 3. Bars 4 and 5 dedicate themselves to climbing back up the diagonal line you followed earlier only to resolve on the fourth 16th of beat 2 in bar 5. Take note: Watch for the consistent parallel tapping approach where each string pair - 6/5, 4/3, 2/1 - has you tapping on the same frets - 12th, 14th and 17th. That vision will be challenged in the following two Workouts so stay alert.

At the end of the day this Level rocks and it's yet another way to exercise your tapping awareness skills while building your chops!
