Level 2 sets aside the open strings for the ever-important three-note-per-string pattern. Making a run down the neck in whole steps starting in the IX position and ending in the III you'll play through the three most common three-note-per-string patterns - whole step/half step, half step/whole step and whole step/whole step - in quintuplets. The secret to nailing these workouts is taking it slow as you work your way up the tempo ladder and gradually build your chops.
